On receipt of an enquiry we will direct this to the relevant expert.

A forensic strategy will be discussed with you and a quote sent for approval. Examinations will not be performed until the approved quote is received.

For forensic veterinary pathology, cadavers are received directly into the post-mortem room at the Veterinary Pathology Centre, University of Surrey, Guildford, between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 from Monday through to Friday, by prior arrangement only. This will be arranged with you, at the time of your enquiry.

We also offer a forensic courier service for transporting animals or other samples for forensic veterinary pathology and forensic science services.

A brief interim report will be provided by email within 2-3 working days of the post-mortem examination.

A final report will be issued within 2-3 weeks of post-mortem examination together with one CD containing images from the examination. Urgent cases can be discussed with the team to meet your deadlines. Complex cases may take longer, and this will be discussed, where applicable.

Invoices are payable within 30 days, as agreed when the quote is approved.

Cadaver remains or other exhibits must be collected or a destruction notification given in writing. A destruction notification form will be provided at the time of release of the interim report, following post-mortem examination.
